After drawing a set of balloons for my best friends - to represent her three children, some of her friends began to query her as to what I could and couldn't draw.

This piece was done by a lovely lady by the name of Kristie. Kristie wanted her son's name, butterfly/s and two hears...buuut I thought some roses would make it look a little nicer too.
I want to redraw this piece, simply because I am unhappy with the little rose on the right.

nothing overly important

On the 28th of Sept. I finally got the piece of glass I needed for my light box.

Whilst it may not be as pretty as some of the other light boxes out there this one has sentimental value. It has been in my family since I was around 10-years-old (thus making the light box almost 14-years-old), my dad built it for my mum – back when she used to hand make personalised greeting cards, they were quite good too.

I also acquired some more Windsor & Newton inks.

…I think perhaps I need their purple of even violet before I set the paints to paper.

Not being sure as to how I should end this rather dull entry, I'll be blunt and not attempt to drag this out further.
I'll be back with some updated art works.
